The paper presents gear pumpconstituent parts operation and installationactual errors impacton the gearing overlapping coefficient value. The gearing overlapping coefficient values are shown to be less than 1 at which pump gear teeth contact opening takes place for the experimental gear pump taking into account the unit parts manufacturing and installation actual errors. In this case pump gearing dynamic loads and gears teeth contact voltages increase assessment was conducted.
