The paper conserns to the problem of the equilibrium of a two-dimensional viscoelastic body having delaminated thin elastic inclusion. The formulation of the problem contains nonlinear conditions of inequality-type on the fracture curve as on a part of the boundary. This causes formulation of the problem in the form of variational inequality. The existence and uniqueness of solution of the problem is proved. The case of a thin rigid inclusion in a viscoelastic body is considered and it is shown that the problem of rigid inclusion is a limiting case for a family of problems on thin elastic inclusions as the stiffness parameter of the inclusion goes to infinity.
