The stress corrosion sensitivity of the domestic and imported 7N01 aluminum alloys is researched by slow strain rate testing (SSRT). The results show that the sensitivity increases with the increase of causticity of corrosive liquid, and the sensitivity of the imported is lower than that of the domestic. It results from the incomplete recrystallized structure and the coarse impurity phases mainly distributing in the grain boundary of the domestic alloy. While the strain rate is in the range of 10~(-6)~10~(-7)s~(-1), with the decrease of the strain rate, the sensitivity increases. The fractures of the specimens tested in different corrosive media are different, and they are ductile fracture, quasi-cleavage fracture and inter-granular fracture respectively in air, 3.5% NaCl solution and the mixed solution of (3.5% NaCl+0.5% H_2O_2).
