摘要

In this paper, photoacoustic (PA) detection of sub-surface microcracks in materials is studied by using a fully thermally-mechanically coupled photoacoustic model with multilayers. Taking Si-Al as an example, we obtain the characteristics of PA signal variation with detection frequency and depth and width of microcracks. The simulation of PA detection is designed and conducted, and the good fitting results indicate that PA detection of sub-surface microcrack in materials is feasible and effective.
