The Warfighter Readiness Research Division at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) focuses on providing Warfighters with the opportunity to train as a collaborative team before executing real-world missions. The lab conducted a series of Networked Integrated Tactical Exercises (NITE) to establish a baseline for adaptive individual and team-of-teams training for those who are part of the team a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems. The NITE research established a training protocol for conducting joint training in localized and Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environments. This research established the foundation to answer questions regarding design and implementation of optimal training frequency and maximum transfer of training.
