Evaluation of pre/post construction energy of a windfarm in complex conditions with different measurement strategies

This study compares the estimated annual energy production results using four different scenarios of measurement strategies (two meteorological masts with different time periods: one - three years) with the actual annual energy production of the windfarm for a two year period. The estimated energy yield has been corrected using available mesoscale/global reanalysis data for each time period. All uncertainty factors were taken into account and a comparison between the probability values of the estimated production has been additionally performed.
