The American Gas Association (AGA) publishes multiple "reports" or recommended practices as performance based specifications for the application of different gas flow measurement technologies (e.g. AGA Report Number 9, Measurement of Gas by Multipath Ultrasonic Meter, AGA Report Number 11, Measurement of Natural Gas by Coriolis Meter). Each of these performance based specifications outlines a set of custody transfer level "minimum performance requirements". In some cases there are technology specific minimum performance requirements, but regardless of technology "repeatability", "maximum error", and "maximum peak to peak error" are common to all.
