PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator performance evaluation method capable of performing a precious estimation of the refrigerator performance also in reference to actual measured operation data for a state where data on low cooling water temperature cannot be taken.SOLUTION: A cooling water inlet temperature of a refrigerator R-1 is measured by a cooling water inlet thermometer TCT11 and at the same time either a consumption power of the refrigerator R-1 or COP is calculated on the basis of a difference between an output of a cooling water inlet thermometer TR11 and an output of a cooling water outlet thermometer TR12 and an output of a flow meter FR11. Subsequently, data are plotted on a graph in which the cooling water inlet temperature of the refrigerator R-1 is set on x-axis for each of load factors of the refrigerator R-1 and either a consumption power of the refrigerator R-1 or COP is set on y-axis. Then, relations between the data plotted on the graph for each of the load factors of the refrigerator R-1 are approximated by an approximate expression having a predetermined dimension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
