摘要

When dealing with problems of engineering practice, it is necessary to make a mathematical model. The goal of kinematical solution of mechanisms is to solve the movement of parts of the mechanism. There are methods to develop a mathematical model, but these methods lead to systems of nonlinear equations. Such systems usually cannot be solved explicitly; therefore, numerical methods are used. Using example of mechanism, we want to highlight the importance of teaching such methods at technical universities.
