Joint theoretical and experimental investigation of the influence of the distributed tangential and normal blowing (into the wall layer of boundary layer) of heavy gas (sulfur hexafluoride of SF_6) on hydrodynamic stability to natural disturbances of the supersonic flat-plate boundary layer at free-stream Mach number M_∞=2 have been performed.
