The Current Development and Interactive Strategies of Shipping Services between Ningbo and Zhoushan

With the increase of port throughput, the demand for shipping service of Ningbo and Zhoushan is booming. Shipping services as a part of service industry, occupied an increasingly important status in economic development. This article described the concept and classification of shipping services, analyzed the current development of it in Ningbo and Zhoushan. To optimize the shipping resources allocation between two city and to promote development of regional shipping service, the governments must take active measures to interactive development, to promote the development of shipping finance, to jointly build a ship trading platform, to stagger the development of commodity trading markets, to establish a unified shipping information platform.
