Mobile communication is a practical discipline competition, in line with the national education reform and development requirements. This paper mainly through the analysis of the process, form and content of the competition, pointed out that the role of mobile communication competition for college students' practical ability training, and encourage more students to participate in similar disciplines, and promote the reform of teaching practice, for the training of professional personnel to provide a way of thinking. In July 28, 2010, the State Council promulgated the "national long-term education reform and development plan" proposed to guide the rational orientation of colleges and universities, expand the scale of high ability, application, compound talents training, build a number of international famous, high level of characteristics including undergraduate and higher vocational colleges. Last year the Ministry of education and formally classified as the application type undergraduate 600 undergraduate colleges and universities, highlighting the national team of skilled personnel training attention. Mobile communication technology is a very practical subject competition. The most basic goal of mobile communication is to cultivate college students' ability of practice and innovation. On the one hand, it exercises the students' ability to use professional technical knowledge, and also provides the opportunity to practice the operation. On the other hand, it improves the students' teamwork spirit, and strengthens the communication between students and enterprises.
