After artificial hatching Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen, the male adults were cultured in different temperature. By flow cytometry, DNA contents of apoptotic cells of germ cells were tested and analysed. The results showed that the apoptotic cells under different temperature always appeared in spermatogenesis of Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen but arrived the peak in 45 °C. The conclusion of the study showed that the 25 °C was the best temperature of development and the 45 °C was the worst temperature of development in spermatogenesis of Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen.
