Combine with compact structure, light weight, small volume, excellent sealing capacity, high reliability and suitable for mass production, stamping welded hydrodynamic torque convertor is widely used in automatic transmission. The performance of torque converter will affect the engine fuel economy and vehicle power output greatly. The blades, core and shell of stamping welded hydrodynamic torque convertor are stamped by metal sheets, so the stamping process and the dies manufacturing technology play an extremely important role in production. The simulation of stamping forming and springback for blades, core and shell were carried out, the results shown the springback distribution and maximum springback position. The springback influence factors and the control methods on minimizing springback are also discussed. This provides a theoretical basis for stamping process and will guide the production.
