Energy Efficiency of Major Energy Consuming Countries

摘要

This paper uses a total-factor framework to investigate energy efficiency in 22 major energy consuming countries, which consuming more than 100 million tons of oil equivalent in 2010, including 14 OECD countries and 8 non-OECD countries. Two DEA models, total-factor energy efficiency model and energy-saving energy efficiency model, are used in this article to analyze the China's energy efficiency for impersonality and comprehensive, and to find the energy efficiency difference between china and other countries, especially BRICS and neighbor countries.
