In this paper,the suspension for in-wheel motor driving axis is studied.A double-wishbone suspension for in-wheel motor driving electric vehicle based on the improvement of one SUV is taken as the research object.Due to the motors assembled in the wheel hubs,the space of rear double-wishbone independent suspension is limited.Thus,it is required to modify and optimize the parameters of rear suspension to ensure the little change of suspension K&C before and after optimization.The corresponding simulation model for double-wishbone independent suspension is built in the commercial software ADAMS.It shows that the performance of rear suspension was greatly improved by optimization.
