Second International Workshop on Multimodality in Multispace Interaction (MiMI)

摘要

The 2nd International Workshop on Multimodality in Multispace Interaction (MiMI) was held in the Amusement Zone Miyazaki, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki prefecture in Japan, November 30 - December 1, 2012. We acknowledge that this workshop was part of the JSAI International Symposia on Artificial Intelligence (JSAI-isAI 2012), sponsored by the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence. The papers collected here were all presented at the workshop once, either as an invited talk or as accepted papers. The authors revised their papers based on the discussion at the workshop and submitted them for this post-proceedings volume. Following the strict peer-review process, two out of the five submissions were accepted in the end, and they appear here with the paper by one of the invited speakers, Prof. Jiirgen Streeck from The University of Texas at Austin. We would like to express our special thanks to the anonymous reviewers for their dedicated efforts in making very constructive and useful comments for the authors for further revision. Before we proceed, we would like to very briefly introduce the readers to the aims and scope of our workshop and each contribution.
