Characteristics Analysis of Microseismic Power Acceleration Sensor

In the past, microseismic passive velocity sensor was usually used in microseismic monitoring. It is a common seismic velocity geophone but its performance can not satisfy some higher requirements on microseismic monitoring. In order to improve the effect of microseismic monitoring, the new high performance microseismic power acceleration sensor has developed independently in this paper. Its characteristics are high sensitivity, high resolution and high SNR (signal-to-noise ratio). In order to verify the actual effect of the sensor, simulation experiment is used to compare with other sensors. This paper will analyze the experimental results, calculate important features, and compare the waveform, energy and spectrum of data observed from different types of sensors. The results show that the new high performance microseismic power acceleration sensor is effective.
