In the paper, the rotation compliance equation of flexure hinge is detailedly deduced. Then, the relationship between the rotation compliance and the ratio t/R is calculated by using the software Matlab. The conclusions can be drawn that the rotation compliance reduces rapidly as the ratio t/R is increased when t/R <0.1 while the rotation compliance reduces slightly as the ratio t/R is increased when t/R >0.1. The result has an important significance to design flexure hinge.
