Opteon~(TM) 1150: A New Environmentally Friendly Foam Blowing Agent

The Chemours Company has developed a new foam blowing agent, Opteon~(TM) 1150, a low boiling, low-global warming potential, zero ozone depleting non-VOC product designed to deliver excellent insulation and environmental performance in rigid polyurethane foams. The presentation will discuss the attributes of this new product and the many potential advantages it can bring to various polyurethane rigid foam applications, both as a sole expansion component or as a blend with other types of blowing agents including Opteon~(TM) 1100.
