Organotin Polyesters Containing Thiodiglycolic Acid: Synthesis

The biological activity of organotin compounds has been known for well over 100 years. For over 80 years organotin compounds have been known to inhibit cancer cell growth. More organotin compounds are available commercially than any other metal-containing organometallic. Further, more organotin compounds have undergone testing as potential anticancer agents than any other single group of compounds.
