MANAGING COMPLICATIONS OF EXTRA-HEPATIC BILIARY TRACT SURGERY

The principal surgical syndromes of the extrahepatic biliary tract in small animals include extra-hepatic biliary tract obstruction (EHBO), bile peritonitis and gall bladder mucocele (GBM). These conditions can be present together or as separate syndromes and can result from a plethora of underlying etiologies.
