SLOW COOLING CONVEYORS OF 'HBI' ON MATES D.R.PLANT

Matesi DR plant is an HBI HYL III plant and has two reactors. Originally the MATESI DR Plant was equipped with 6 flooded cooling conveyors, one per each briquetting machine. The briquettes, after leaving the separator were having a sudden cooling. In July 2007: a new briquette cooling conveyor system was installed. The new briquette cooling system consists basically of a pan conveyor receives the briquettes from the briquetting machine and transport them to the cooling conveyor where controlled cooling of the briquette takes place.
