摘要

We have successfully fabricated pure ZnO nanorods and Mn-doped ZnO nanorods with different concentrations, which are 1%, 2.5%, and 5%. XRD and Raman scattering measurements were performed to investigate the structures of Mn-doepd ZnO nanostructres. It was found that the Mn atoms tended to substitute for O atoms till reach a saturation point. Absorption spectra were taken to derive the width of optical band gap of Mn-doped ZnO nanorods. The doping of Mn element can make the band gap firstly increase and then decrease. The photocatalytic activity of samples was studied by comparing the degradation rate of rhodamine B (RB) under UV-light irradiation.
