1.The Government of Canada is strongly committed to our North, the Northern Strategy provides the context for our path forward; 2. New regional-scale GEM geoscience is beginning to provide the new data and knowledge that are required to facilitate the new exploration and discoveries that will catalyse social and economic development and benefits for Northerners; 3. Current, evolving state of knowledge suggests significant potential for undiscovered gas in the Canadian Arctic.
