At Swerea KIMAB there is a long tradition of research in the area of predicting the performance and understanding the reasons for premature failures and in helping with materials selection for both polymeric and metallic materials in corrosive environments. Our test facilities have recently also been expanded so that we now have better possibilities to test in environments often encountered in oilfield applications, such as H2S.
