摘要

This article describes the real-time transmission of streaming media technology in the Fire Communication. Paper focuses on three important processes of network transmission: socket programming, network communication protocol and buffer control. The old fire communications network is based on the construction of public security network, and to handle routine police work, can only provide voice transmission capabilities, and the effective coverage is low, the maintenance cost is too high. To adapt to the social development, a new technologies is urgently needed to build a new communication network. Streaming media technology is a new network transport technology to the network in order to transfer and play real-time audio / video and other multimedia information, if it is applied to the fire communications, the information construction will be promoted rapidly.
