0.997(KNN-LS-BF)-0.003 V_2O_5 piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by the traditional sintering method. The effects of sintering time on structure and properties of 0.997(KNN-LS-BF)-0.003 V_2O_5 ceramics were studied. With the increase of sintering time from 2 h to 6 h, the crystal phase changes from orthorhombic symmetry phase to tetragonal phase, and the properties in the piezoelectric constant d_(33), planar coupling coefficient k_p, dielectric constant ε_r and dielectric loss tanδ all have been remarkably improved when the sintering time increase to 4 h, then the properties of the samples would be deteriorated when the sintering time is over 4 h. However, the mechanical quality factor Q_m would be deteriorated all along with the increase of sintering time.
