摘要

In this article, a recently developed method for numerical solution of eigenproblems for linear Hamiltonian systems is applied to the problem of natural transverse vibrations of a rotating wedge Euler-Bernoulli beam. Here, the beam has a crack which is modelled by a local changing of thickness. The method is based on Newton-type iterations with a spectral correction. The numerical results are given and discussed.
