For the modular worm cutters with cutting edges made up from sintered metallic carbides the cutting edge is not continuous, the accomplishing of a complete tooth contour is made with the help of 2 - 4 teeth, according to the cutting scheme. That is why it is very important to determine the load on each point from the cutting edge, in order to make the cutting scheme as energetically balanced as possible.
