摘要

The cutting edges (hereafter - the edges) of the disc profile cutters and the worm milling cutters are among the most complex objects of control in the machine building industry. With the quite high requirements on their accuracy, in the general case the edges are complex three-dimensional curves of differing shape [1-3] that depends on the shape of the workpiece and the geometry of the cutter.
