SUMMARY This chapter proposes a quick glance at interdisciplinarity in elementary school. The disciplines studied--citizenship and mathematics--tried to address some issues about gambling activities. Results from a teaching experiment suggested that the mutual influence of these disciplines enhance the competency development, either for citizenship than for mathematics.
