摘要

With the enforcement and development of revolution in China, the interaction between China and international society has been deepened. We are provided a broad space of international cooperation in different fields, such as science and technology, education, economy, etc. The increasing demand of foreign language talents leads to the increase of foreign language teachers in colleges in China who are born in the 1980s and 1990s and are called the new generation foreign language teachers. The members in the special group are almost all the only child in the family, enjoying the fruits of modern science and technology and learning foreign culture. Therefore the special time background results in the differences between them and any other generations before them with respect to their features of character, outlook on value and life and some other aspects. So the traditional model of college human resource management, the authoritative or heroic leadership can not suitably regulate, restrain or supervise the new generation college English teachers. A great emphasis on the seeking of appropriate management model according to the practical need of work and their character features is laid on the development of college English teacher management. In this thesis a questionnaire is conducted to reveal their special features and the problems in the process of management. Finally the corresponding countermeasures of management are put forward with the expectation to adjust to the new generation college English teacher management in the new era.
