Assessment of Material Job Satisfaction of Health Workers

The article assesses and identifies the determinants of material satisfaction of health workers, which is determined by gender, age, education, marital status of employees, as well as a group of factors, depending on the employer. Men have higher material satisfaction at the peak of professional qualification heyday (35-45 years) than women. Single workers and women with secondary and higher education experience a low level of material satisfaction. Among the unsatisfied with the absolute level of wages are the employees with secondary education, and the ones having higher education are not satisfied with the relative level of wages. Significant factors were favourable conditions of work, bonus payments, job approvals obtained from the leadership, an employee's willingness to change jobs provided higher wages.
