8HP70H - The Mildhybrid transmission from ZF - Challenges and Achievements

During the development phase of the new 8- speed automatic transmission, it was a strong demand of the potential customers to have hybridised variations as well to fulfil the market desires for green technologies in all vehicle classes. In a first step, ZF developed the mildhybrid version for upper class limousines. The upcoming challenges and achievements are described here.
