摘要

This article presents preparation and characterization of copper (II) exchanged Ti02-pillared clay from Indonesian montmorillonite. Two kinds of titania precursors: TiOC1_2 and titanium tetraisopropoxide were used for investigating the effect of titania precursor to the physicochemical character. The materials were analyzed by several techniques such as XRD, Gas Sorption Analysis, Diffuse-Reflectance UV-Vis and FTIR. Salient feature of this study relates to the result that the physicochemical character of material is dependant on the titania precursor used as titania pillaring precursor.
