The coordinative development problem of urban traffic and transportation system was studied using multi-attribute utility theory. Through system analysis and goal resolvability, the synthetic evaluation indices of supply and demand level were established respectively about urban traffic and transportation system and social and economic system by multi-attribute utility function. The concept of coordination development level of supply-demand system was proposed from the angle of urban sustainable development. The new synthetic variables were used as the supply and demand level variables respectively, which were extracted by using principal component analysis. The models of the coordinative degree were established. The synthetic judging and embedded analysis can be discussed about the tendency of coordinative degree. The concrete application result of Langfang City in China shows its correctness and feasibility.
