Research on Optimization of Tender Project Process Based on Theory of ProjectManagement

Invitation of tender, a widely used engineeringcontracting model, plays an important role in perfectingmarket mechanism, promoting optimal allocation of resource,improving the comprehensive quality of constructionenterprises, ensuring quality, duration and efficiency of theproject, and strengthening the construction of clean and honestgovernment. With the economic development in China and theincreasingly expansion of construction scale, invitation oftender is playing a more and more important role, especiallyfor the large-scale projects, which is put up to the project levelrather than a routine operation. This paper will optimize thetender invitation process on the basis of theory of projectmanagement to solve the exsisting problems. Furthermore, bysperating the tender invitation progress into several stages, thispaper will use five process groups in project management ineach stage and mannage the key factors within them.
