GATE is a worldwide unique terrestrial open-air test environment for Galileo. In operation and open to all users worldwide since August 1, 2008. IFEN GmbH will be in charge of the GATE test area till end of Q3/2010. Galileo signal upgrade according to latest issues of ESA Galileo SIS ICD and Public GSA Galileo OS SIS ICD available end of 2009.
