Eleven europium complexes doped other metal ions with 2,3 - pyrazine dicarboxylic acid had been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, rare earth EDTA titration, IR, UV and fluorescence spectra. They were EuL_(1.5)-5H_2O, Eu_(0.5)Ln_(0.5)L_(1.5)-5H_2O (Ln~(3+)=La~(3+), Y~(3+), Gd~(3+)), EuML_(2.5)-8H_2O (M~(2+)= Mg~(2+), Ca~(2+), Sr~(2+), Ba~(2+), Co~(2+), Ni~(2+), Zn~(2+)). Doped metal ions could enhanced the fluorescence of Eu3+ complex, and the order of the fluorescence enhancement was Zn~(2+)>La~(3+)>Gd~(3+)>Y~(3+); Mg~(2+)> Sr~(2+)>Ca~(2+)>Ba~(2+). And doped with Co~(2+) and Ni~(2+) made the Eu~(3+) luminescence quenched, which the luminous intensity was almost zero.
