Statistical Analysis of Galileo E1 Indoor Acquisition

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the performance analysis in indoor environments of the Galileo E1 OS signal, without assistance information, using long coherent integration window and multiple non-coherent accumulations. In fact, an algorithm for Galileo E1- C signal acquisition has been used and tested. This makes it possible to perform coherent correlations of a length of the secondary code, or multiplies of it, without being affected by the secondary code chips transitions. Following this, non-coherent accumulations have been done in order to improve receiver sensitivity. Our analysis was performed via software simulation exploiting statistical analysis of secondary code delay in the E1-C signal. In order to assess the performance of the acquisition stage a peak-to-noise floor separation on cross ambiguity function (CAF) was carried out.
