摘要

The socio-economic globalization leads to the internationalization of education. All countries in the world are studying and learning from the advanced education mode of other countries, in order to accelerate domestic technical personnel training to meet the needs of the global economy competition. In personnel training, the engineering practice ability is an important aspect of capacity-building of engineering students, which relates to the employment and competitiveness of graduate students, and strengths and weaknesses of industrial technology human resources, and even the country's economic and technological development. Therefore, all countries in the world are exploring capacity-building model of engineering practice for the needs of their economic and technological development. This article investigates characteristics, principle, application and interaction of capacity-building model of engineering practice by using Canada, Singapore and China as example, and points out the direction of development on training model of engineering practice ability for Chinese engineering students.
