Study on “Two-oriented Society Construction” in Chongqing City Based on the Principal Component Analysis

To achieve sound and rapid development of the national economy, "Two-oriented society Construction" is the inevitable choice, also it's an important strategic objective to build a harmonious socialist society. This paper choose eighteen indicators which are highly relevant to "Two-oriented society Construction", using principal component analysis to research "Two-oriented society Construction" trajectory of Chongqing Municipality in recent years. The results show that: in general, "Two-oriented society Construction" in Chongqing City show a positive development trend, but exist inadequacies in some partial cycles, such as the tertiary occupation lacking of the driving force, as well as resource-saving and environment-protecting.
