An atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier jet discharge system which consists of a hollow cathode and a hemispherical anode were designed and constructed. This jet discharge system is powered by H.V. AC voltage. This work presents the dependence of the appearance and electrical characteristics of the jet discharge on the gas flow-rate and applied voltage.
