摘要

Magnetic field (H) induced step-like jump in magnetization (M) is observed in Sm0,52Sr0,48MnO3 single crystal above the Curie temperature (TC = 110 K), Such a metamagnetic jump in M occurs for H<4 T. The temperature and field dependence of magnetic susceptibility reveals that both ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) interactions coexists in the paramagnetic phase and the nature of the magnetic interaction changes from AFM to FM above 4 T.
