APPLICATION OF CADMIUM IN RICE FLOUR CERTIFIED REFERENCE MATERIALS TO REALIZE TRACEABILITY OF MEASUREMENT VALUES

Traceability of a measurement result is the main focus to obtain worldwide acceptance of testing result. However, the development of treaceability concept faces many challenges in the chemical field due to variety and complexity of chemical measurement. In this paper, through developing Cd in rice flour certified reference materials (CRMs), establishing the primary measurement method-isotope dilution mass spectrometry, participating interlaboratory comparison, claiming Calibration and Measurement Capabilities, and analyzing relativity among these elements, the traceability chain for measurement of Cd in rice was established.
