A position elevating model for pilot training for airways

摘要

Nowadays it becomes crucially important for airline companies to forecast the number of different classes of pilots and make a medium-term plan for pilot training. With the use of joint distribution, a new forecast Model was given in this paper, focusing on techniques appropriate to medium-term forecast. The pilots' position elevating (PPE) problem was described as an integer programming model for pilots' medium-term training plan. The PPE problem can be extended to the common position elevating problem as well.
