摘要

Internet, as any technological innovation deeply impacting the social context, has led to extraordinary consequences while entering it and consolidating in common usage. With the use of Internet, communication gains the advantage of interactivity: while with television the approach is passive and ends when the message is received, in the cyberspace (acting as an illusion in a limited space) the added value of participation is acquired, too. The individual invests a part of him/herself and is ready to put at stake one's own emotional sphere. In both cases it can lead to dependency, but while zapping brings about absent-mindedness and annihilation of the person, web dependency demands for the individual's action, expectation and personal investments which can equally bring about an annihilation, in this case extended to his/her social horizon.
