In this article we will discuss combining old media such as textbook, chalkboard, pencil and paper withthe profound possibilities offered by the immense computerized media available to help improvestudents’ understanding of geometry. We list some reasons that lead us to redesigning our traditionalElementary Geometry course. With an analytic eye on the future, it seemed plausible to ameliorate thecourse. We demonstrate how, as part of the new Elementary Geometry course structure, aninteractive online homework configuration was introduced. We also delineate how utilizingcomputerized media as a new tool ultimately lead to a different structure of class sessions, which inturn allowed students to experience new educative in-class activities, thereby increasing opportunitiesfor collaborative learning, stimulating self-evaluation, and finally motivating students to improve theirwork.
