摘要

Indonesia as a developing country has some mission to increase education for the grassroots community. Education indeed became the support in increasing Indonesian human resources for the development of the nation. Effective education was an education that enabled participants educated to be able to study by could be easy, fun and be reached the aim in accordance with that was hoped for. According to that, the Electronic School Book (E-School Book) was launched by the Indonesian government through the Department of National Education (Depdiknas), on August 20 2008. However, E-School Book cause the dilemma between the aims of the provisions of the high-quality school book cheap-easy to be received and unavailable infrastructure in the entire region in Indonesia, and capital as well as the social condition for the culture in the community. Hence, this paper would to discuss more about the effectiveness of Indonesian E-School Book program and try to explain more about the fact after this Indonesian E-School Book was launch. Hopefully this paper could be one of the references to learn about strategies to achieve pro poor education with e-book, especially in the developing countries in the world.
